Landman season 2 episode 10 (finale): Another surprise guest?

Ahead of the Landman season 2 finale arriving on Paramount+ this weekend, why not take a moment to look more at the past? We do, after all, tend to think that the show has excelled in using the element of surprise in a few different ways.

After all, let’s just take a moment here to think about one Andy Garcia. At the end of the season 1 finale the actor turned up and while his appearance was technically announced in advance, by the time he appeared it was easy to forget about that. This was as effective a cliffhanger as anything the Taylor Sheridan series could have done, given that it allowed for a big name to enter the picture and raised more questions regarding his future.

So is there a chance that moving forward, we are going to see even more big names turn up? Well, nothing is confirmed and yet, having a secret guest star in the Landman finale would push things over the top … and it also feels feasible. Just remember that if you are a legendary actor, being on one of television’s most-popular shows seems like a good move. You get to work with Billy Bob Thornton and given that this series is not a year-round commitment, still have time for other things.

In the end, this is something that we would watch out for heavily over the course of the finale — and beyond just this, we do still have the lingering mystery of what is going to happen with Tommy, now that he has been fired by Cami. We cannot imagine him being out of the game for long, but where will he end up?
