‘Arrow’ season 2: Stephen Amell gives thanks for TCA love
For more on his reaction to the news, why not just turn to the man himself? In a post on Twitter, the actor behind the hero had the following to say about getting this extra helping of love:
“Hey now! Thank you for the additional #TCA nominations. I celebrated by doing a peculiar sort of hack squat.”
Well, can you really be surprised about this? It takes a certain kind of training to be shirtless on this show as much as Amell is.
For those of you looking for some production scoop on “Arrow” season 2, what we can tell you for now is this: Stephen is already in Vancouver, which is where the show films. Scenes will start being shot very, very soon, and the show will premiere on The CW Wednesday, October 9 at 8:00 p.m. Eastern time. The irony here is that Amell is only going to have so much time to even work on on the show, given that he will travel from here to San Diego for Comic-Con later this month, and also take off to Fan Expo in Toronto in August. Let’s hope that being super-caffeinated is one of Oliver’s new powers this season.
