One of the major takeaways and things worth noting about the British drama is that with us now being in the 1970’s, there are tremendous changes that are coming throughout Poplar and all of the country. You have of course major innovations that shape the way births are handled, and that is without even noting what is going on when it comes to the rise of the NHS and also women welcoming babies in hospitals. Some of this will shape the next episode, but so will a few other storylines, including a dangerous disease and Cyril learning more about being in a complicated relationship at this point in history.
To get a few more details now for what is ahead, be sure to check out the full Call the Midwife season 15 episode 2 synopsis below:
A new medical technique threatens to change the face of obstetrics forever, whilst a potential rabies outbreak has Poplar in a state of fear. Cyril meets Rosalind’s parents.
Because we are still extremely early into the season, one of the last things that we want to specify here is that we cannot really claim that the story is going to move in a straight line for any character on the show. They are all going to encounter more obstacles, whether it be on the job or away from it due to what is happening in the world.
