‘Dexter’ season 8: One creepy look at Michael C. Hall

DexterDo you like your “Dexter” publicity photos with an extra dose of creepy? If you’re answering this question with a pretty emphatic “yes,” then we figure that the following image we have to share here is pretty much going to be right up your alley … or should we say right up the nearest corner of your favorite loading dock?

The location of this particular photo should feel extremely familiar to fans, given that it serves as the entire origin story for Dexter as a serial killer. In our mind, the only thing that comes as a surprise is that Dexter, even for a non-canon publicity shoot, would want to surface in such a place. It’s bloody, messy, and far and away different than any that we have seen from the season so far. It’s also representative of that full-circle moment that came when Deb shot LaGuerta in the same location at the end of last season.

So will there be more kills by Dexter before the end of the year? You better believe it, given that he has already taken out one body by pretty aggressive means, and he’s getting sloppier as his world starts to crumble more and more. His support system in Deb is gone, the only two women who ever truly loved him (Lumen and Hannah) also are not around, and there is a new woman in town in Dr. Evelyn Vogel who knows just about every one of his darkest secrets.

What do you think about this bloody image: Does it make you more excited for the eleven episodes that are still to come? In speaking of one of those, you can watch a preview for Sunday night’s installment just by heading on over to the link here.
