‘NCIS’: Prepare for season 11 this Independence Day

NCISIf there is one thing that we know about “NCIS” in syndication, it’s that anyone who has it likes to play the you-know-what out of it. When you have a show that receives 20+ million viewers for new episodes, though, this is almost certainly understandable that someone would want to.

What we have for you today is big news for those of you who are really desperate to get your fix of Tony, Ziva, Gibbs, and the rest of your favorite characters on Independence Day: USA (who owns the cable rights to the show) is going to be airing a massive marathon that includes some notable episodes from seasons 7-9 beginning at 6:00 a.m. Eastern tomorrow morning. This marathon will keep going strong through the afternoon and the evening, before finally coming to a close at around 4:00 a.m. the following day.

While there is no season 10 thrown in here, hopefully this will still be a way to refresh on some of your favorite stories prior to the start of season 11. With this upcoming season, producers are going to have more of an opportunity than ever to play around a little bit. We have a time jump coming up of a few months, and in that time we will see what caused Gibbs to become a sniper, and also a little bit about what Tony and Ziva (pending that Cote de Pablo finally gets signed to a new contract) were up to during some of their time away from the organization. There is a lot of story for the show to get through, and we personally expect to see CBS excited, ambitious, and ready to jump in come Tuesday, September 24 at 8:00 p.m. Eastern time.
