Is Sheriff Country new tonight on CBS? Given the pretty shocking cliffhanger that we had at the end of last week’s episode, we want nothing more than to get to the other side of it.
Now, is that going to actually happen? That is what we’re left to wonder for now when it comes to the fate of at least one character — and unfortunately, there is not about to be an answer to this, either. There is no new episode of the Morena Baccarin show on the air tonight and instead, it seems like the plan here is to bring the series back in late February, on the other side of the Winter Olympics.

Unfortunately, we are still so far out that there is not much news on the next Sheriff Country, but of course we hope that this changes before the end of January. How can we not when you think about some of the stories that still lie ahead? There is a chance to learn more here about Travis’ fate, but also the cases that await Mickey and the other characters moving forward.
As for whether or not there will be more Fire Country crossovers, that feels more than a little bit likely. However, we do tend to think the show is going to keep moving in the way of giving us smaller events as opposed to something huge. It is easier, after all, to have one character move between shows than a full cast. This also does make a certain amount of organic sense to a community like Edgewater, which is small and it feels inevitable that people are going to run into each other.
