‘The Bachelorette’ spoilers: Brooks Forester, Desiree Hartsock, and a scary view

Desiree Hartsock and Brooks Forester may have the pinnacle of their entire experience on “The Bachelorette” during the new episode airing on Monday night … though maybe it’s because they are sitting on the top of a cliff in Madeira. The island serves as the setting for the final five, or as we like to call it, the episode where a few guys get some one=on-one time and the others get completely hosed.

So what’s going to unfold on this island? In one word: Romance. Big, exaggerated-for-TV romance. Brooks is going to be at the center of it, given that he has his second one-on-one date of the season while having some sort of picnic in the sky with Desiree. We are amazed at how Brooks’ hair still seems to be in the same position as always, how they are not afraid of the food (or themselves)  falling, and whether or not they are absolutely terrified on this date.

We will say this: This is not a date we would do. Anything that is romantic about the scenery is completely taken away by the fact that you are dining off a cliff with no safety net. One wrong move, and this show turns into an episode of “Whodunnit” (watch it, it’s great!).

Will Desiree give Brooks a rose on the date? It would be an enormous surprise to everyone if she didn’t, given that he has long been pegged the favorite for this. Not only has it seemed obvious watching the show, but even guys coming off of it have commented that the two are perfect together.

Let’s pose the question to you: Would you ever have a date on the side of a cliff? In case you’re curious, Brooks is going to be freaked out by something later on this season, but according to our video evidence, it’s for a very different reason.
