Silo season 3 premiere date: A December 2025 update

Now that we have made it to the start of December, you have to imagine that some Silo season 3 premiere date news is right around the corner … right?

Well, on paper, we do think that it makes all the sense in the world now to be demanding. Remember that filming for this chapter of the Rebecca Ferguson show wrapped up some months ago and because of that, we tend to think we will be hearing something more about the future of the series before too long. At one point, we certainly thought that it could be coming out this year … but that time has since passed unless a shadow-drop magically comes out of nowhere.

Based on how long Apple TV tends to go from announcing a premiere date to a show actually airing, we tend to think that late winter is the most likely release window for season 3. There is a solid chance that an official announcement happens this month but at the same time, we would not consider it certain at the same time. It really just depends on when the streaming service determines they need the show and how they want to promote it.

Now if there is anything more that we can say about the story for season 3, it is to expect a challenging (but pretty darn fascinating) balancing act. Remember that at the end of season 2 we got our first glimpse at the past, an opportunity to learn how a lot of the Silo structures were first built. This will be heavily explored moving forward, though at the same time, we anticipate spending a ton of time in the present with a lot of the characters we have come to know already.
