Landman season 2 episode 3 spoilers: A confrontation

Next week on Paramount+ you are going to have an opportunity to dive into Landman season 2 episode 3 — so what can we say about it now?

First and foremost, let’s start by noting that “Almost a Home” is going to be one of those installments that hits some of the themes that we’ve heard about for quite some time. Take, for example, control given that Cami is now running M-Tex and Tommy has to find a way to work with her. She is learning a lot in real time; meanwhile, Billy Bob Thornton’s character is quickly figuring out that she doesn’t quite work the same way. An adjustment period will be required here, no?

Tommy confronts Cami about finances; Cooper’s success draws attention.

Now, we are in a spot here where Cooper’s story could honestly become incredibly dangerous in a rapid amount of time, and for good reason. Just remember here that he is someone who is very much ambitious, but at the same time inexperienced. He’s found a lot of professional success for himself at an extremely early point in his life, and we do tend to think that there is a natural response that is going to come as a result of that. This is a show that thrives on chaos, and we do not think that this is going to stop at any point in the near future. (To think, we have not even said anything at this point about either Angela or Ainsley — aren’t they going to have their own roles to play?)
