Landman season 2 episode 2 promo: The Cooper conflict ahead
With Landman season 2 episode 2 set to arrive this weekend, are we going to get some explosive drama? Or, will the show continue to have its hot-and-cold moments?
Ultimately, so far the Taylor Sheridan series has committed itself to delivering more of the same for season 1, and we mean that both for better and for worse. The good stuff that we are getting is derived mostly from seeing conflict out on the oil fields, as well as some of the problems Cooper may be getting himself into. It seems like he may be on the cusp of success already, but what is the cost? In the midst of all of this, though, we have the continuously-polarizing stuff with Ainsley and Angela, which represents Sheridan doubling down on something that was polarizing from season 1.

If you head over to the link here now, you can see a new Landman preview that sets the table for the next episode, and that features Tommy giving his son a pretty stern warning. We recognize fully at this point that Cooper is ambitious but at the same time, that ambition often gets in the way! He is prone to making mistakes or trusting the wrong people, and that could happen here all over again.
Speaking of trust issues, is Tommy right to be worried about Cami? We don’t tend to think that this is off the table right now based on some of what we’ve seen. This relationship could be tenuous; even if Demi Moore’s character knows him, she is going to have her own visions and thoughts for how to lead M-Tex. Also, she may not appreciate some of the ways in which he does things.
