IT: Welcome to Derry season 1 episode 4 promo: Hanlon fights back
Following the events of IT: Welcome to Derry season 1 episode 3 last night on HBO, we don’t blame anyone chomping at the bit for more. There is such a curiosity now for answers moving forward, and for good reason!
Take, for starters, the kids, who are now desperate for the assistance of adults to make sure that they don’t get killed by whatever is coursing through the community. They have the photos developed that clearly show something, but is that going to be enough to convince anyone to act? Well, this is where things get a little bit tricky and hard to figure out.

If you head over to the link here, you can see a preview for the next episode that shows that it’s not going to be that easy for the kids to get assistance, and Will could be one of the next people targeted by Pennywise. Technically, we feel confident that he is going to survive based on the Hanlon family’s continued existence in this universe … but there may still be a massive struggle ahead for him.
As for what else is coming, another plotline at this point may be tied to Leroy Hanlon trying to really press Shaw for answers about what they are really after. He’s clearly a guy who feels like he’s seen enough, and he does not understand here the level of history that Shaw has with the infamous entity of Derry. We got a much better sense of that in episode 3, and it is another reminder that the clown has been in the community far longer than anyone else has been alive. That adds to the drama and honestly, we hope that there are more opportunities to dive into other 27-year cycles as we move forward.
