Only Murders in the Building season 5 finale: Who could die?
In just a matter of days we are going to have a chance to dive head-first into the Only Murders in the Building season 5 finale. With that, what can you expect to see?
Well, first and foremost, it feels easy to assume that someone will die given the fact that we’ve seen this on so many occasions already. This is a show that loves to take out people in the finale as a means to set the stage for the next chapter. Now, we’re well-aware of the fact that there is no season 6 as of yet. However, we also view it as somewhat of a formality, can you really imagine a world in which the powers-that-be decide that bringing the show back is somehow a bad idea? That’s not something we can begin to understand.

With all of this in mind, take a look below to learn about the characters we are currently most worried about.
Howard – He could die but, at the same time, we could also envision him eventually being the Big Bad overseeing a lot from the beginning. The biggest reason for him to survive is that he feels like he needs to be there for whenever the show ends.
Detective Williams – Are there a lot of people out there who want her dead? Probably, and it could put the trio in a bind losing their only real source at the NYPD.
Teddy Dimas – Isn’t there a reason why Nathan Lane has gotten more screen time as of late? There’s certainly a lot to explore here regarding the past.
Mayor Tillman – It feels possible, though it would be an extremely high-profile case.
Someone totally new – The series could opt to venture back into what they did at the end of season 3 with Paul Rudd and honestly, we’d understand. You don’t want to lose the characters we are already seeing on-screen!
