NCIS season 23 episode 2 promo: Is everyone arrested?

After the crazy events of the premiere, it is easy to be stoked for NCIS season 23 episode 2. Alden Parker’s future already hangs in the balance but at the same time, can you say that is true for everyone else, as well?

If you head over to the link here, the promo for what is ahead seemingly suggests that we are going to be seeing Vance try his best to arrest some of his agents … but is this misdirection? It would not be the first time that we’ve seen something like this happen. The situation regarding both Parker and his sister has escalated a great deal and yet, we do think that some closure is going to be coming and soon. (As angry as we are at Harriet at the moment, it is rather nice to see this sort of aspect of Parker’s life — someone who walked a different path in her early years.)

Are we sitting here and saying that the entire plotline with Parker’s father and Marino is done? Not necessarily, as the NCIS producers could be working to thread it here and there into the remainder of the season. However, most seasons of the show like to get back into a natural rhythm once we get to episodes 3 or 4 — save for the one where Mark Harmon left. We do think that the agents are going to find a way to get some equilibrium again before too long.

In general, though, let’s just say that this season is clearly on its way to ending on a high note — if we are lucky, we’re going to be seeing some great stuff for quite some time moving forward.
