‘Teen Mom’ alum Farrah Abraham makes right move, finally enters rehab
There are some celebrity breakdowns that you can see coming a mile away, and we don’t say that to be snarky; instead, it’s rather sad that these people for whatever reason choose not to get help to deal with what are obviously some major issues in their lives. Farrah Abraham was obviously one of these people dealing with such issues, which is why it is easy to be grateful now that she is getting treatment for some of her problems.
In a statement (per Radar Online), the former “Teen Mom” star, who has since made headlines for plastic surgery, a DUI arrest, and some things far too scandalous to really mention here, says that she made the decision to be better for her daughter Sophia as well as herself:
“At this time in my life, I need to stay focused on the positive to get through all of the negative that a DUI has caused in my life,”
While she remains in an outpatient facility in Florida, Sophia will be under the care of her father Mike. Hopefully, when she gets the opportunity to get out, she can turn some of the recent drama in her life into a positive. “Teen Mom” stars have not exactly been the model of all that is good. Farrah’s co-star Amber Portwood has spent a substantial amount of time in prison, and “Teen Mom 2” star Jenelle Evans has an arrest history that could give a phone book a run for it’s money. While there are exceptions to this rule here, we have to highlight mostly what the media chooses to focus on, though we do give some props to the likes of Leah Messer Calvert and Maci Bookout for staying out of the public eye in this sort of negative way.
Most recently, Abraham had been in the headlines for a public spat she got into with “Anger Management” star Charlie Sheen, as she was hoping to land a guest-starring role on his show before leaking information to the press.
