While you may not be seeing it right now on “The Real Housewives of New Jersey,” it is looking more and more as though there may actually be some progress brewing in real life in the tattered relationship between Melissa Gorga and her sister-in-law Teresa Giudice. The two famously have feuded over everything from family to allegations of their past to claims of lying and leaks to the press; in other words, it’s a lot to take in. However, these ladies have long advertised that they are “strong” and “tough,” and if that is the case, they really should be able to get past this.
So will it happen? If you wait long enough this season, it certainly looks like it. For some evidence of this just check out what Gorga had to say about the show in a chat with The Hollywood Reporter:
“I think this season is a lot about the relationship between Teresa and I, and I think it’s been center stage so far. From what I know we filmed, that’s pretty much how it goes. It’s really complicated, and you get a lot of answers this season to what’s going on behind the scenes, how deep and dirty people are being to each other, a lot of answers that come out. We worked really, really hard to work it out and get to the point where we can be in the same room together without screaming. We do get a happy ending, which we never usually have on this show. It’s not easy, and it’s a long road. For me, it’s extremely emotional this season. I can see it on my face when I watch the episodes.”
The moment that these two do start getting along more will be a cause for great celebration; their falling-out has made for frustrating television, and there are many out there who have advertised already growing tired of the drama.
Do you think that there is any way that this story has a happy ending by the time “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” comes to a close, or do you think that we are really just doomed to fail when it comes to seeing these two happy? If you want to see the latest chapter in why they are at each others’ throats, the review of Sunday night’s episode here should do the trick.
