‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 4, episode 2 review: Did Aria move on from Ezra?

Pretty Little LiarsLast week on “Pretty Little Liars,” we were introduced to all of the major storylines on this season, including the shocking news that Hanna’s mother had her phone stored away in Wilden’s casket.

So what was really going on with these two? That was one of the major mysteries during this week’s episode, as Hanna tried to get some sort of information out of her about the finer details. Did she make a whole lot of progress? At least not at first, and we have a feeling that this will be something that takes quite a little bit of time to figure out.

In the Emily department, one of the biggest mysteries revolved entirely around what in the world happened to her in the swim meet to start bleeding. Is Shana sabotaging her, or is something else at play? We don’t know, but it seems like someone is out to seriously hurt her dream of being at Stanford with Paige. The thing about this story right now is that we’d love to see Emily finally get a win, but the producers at the moment are making that fairly impossible right now.

As for some of the other developments, Aria ended up meeting a rather good-looking karate teacher (and possible hookup after her time with Ezra) as a means to protect herself, which led to her actually planting a kiss on the man. What in the world happened here? We still think that Ezra is endgame, but it makes sense that the show would take time allowing her to get there.
