Just in case you cannot get enough of “Big Brother 15” just know that you’re not alone. We’ve already updated our sidebar (which you can see below and to the right) so that it shows you our latest updates from the show. That’ll be there all summer long, that way it’s nice and convenient for you to get the latest scoop faster then Chima throwing her mic in the hot tub.
For this update, we bring to you some valuable information courtesy of a chat Julie Chen gave to “Entertainment Tonight.” You get an even better look at the house, and also a few interesting details that you haven’t heard about previously.
1. As suggested earlier, the lack of nomination chairs is interesting, and Julie claims that it pertains to the twist. We’re hoping that America is not making nominations, since American voting on nominations or eliminations is what made season 1 a complete disaster. Also it will change the way people behave, transform this into season 1 (which was only good because of the cast, and not because of the structure), and change the game play since it will be a game the houseguests will be playing with America, not each other. Okay, premature freakout is over.
2. There are in fact going to be 16 houseguests, and Chen suggests that one will be familiar to us, but not in the way that we think. This may give some credence to the idea of a former “Survivor” playing being in the game, but we don’t even know who they would pick. Another option is that it is a returning houseguest, but they have some sort of alternative role beyond just a contestant.
3. Julie says that the twist will actually start at the very beginning of the game, when the voting public will have to determine something for the houseguests. Once again, we hope it’s not something that actually causes someone to go home. We don’t need that much power!
