‘Homeland’ season 3 spoilers: Let the games begin
The following “Homeland” season 3 article is short and sweet, but sometimes, isn’t it a little better to not waste any time before getting to the good stuff? According to SpoilerTV, the fourth episode of the Showtime drama will be titled “Game On.” It is definitely an interesting thing to name an episode, and one worthy of at least a few eyebrow-raises.
So what in the world could this be talking about? The easiest guess is that it marks the real beginning of a mission or manhunt, and it is surely something that Carrie and Saul are at the center of. There are no other characters right now who are really in the need for “games,” especially since everyone involved in the Brody family would most-likely at this point prefer to be in hiding.
Speaking of hiding, we do want to give Showtime and the producers right now a standing ovation for managing to still keep Damian Lewis’ whereabouts, and his role in the show, largely under wraps. What made the end of season 2 for Nicholas Brody so genuinely crazy is that you literally have no idea at all just where this character is going to, what he will be doing there, and when he will come back. The stakes couldn’t be higher for someone who is suspected of being a traitor, and has to stay out of America and in hiding if he wants to ensure that he can go on living as a free man. Scary, no?
What’s your thinking on this “Game On” title, and do you think that this is much more about Carrie and Saul than the missing Brody? If you want to read a very different sort of “Homeland” debate, one generated almost entirely around Morena Baccarin’s pregnancy, you can do so over at the link here.

Series 3 will start with the hunt for Brody and viewers will eventually be shown where he is and what he has done to his appearance. But he will be found in the end and taken back to America and imprisoned in some uncomfortable way till interrogation begins in earnest. This could mean a harrowing experience for Brody and those who love him.Like in The UK the Americans see no wrong in using waterboarding etc. Brody will have been trained how to resist this but there might be an overzealous guard who goes too far resulting in lasting brain damage or even death.
