ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 6 spoilers: The start of filming and more

CastleAre you finding the long break from “Castle” to be rather painful? If so, hopefully we will be able to ease the suffering somewhat with the news that the show will start filming once again on ABC in just a matter of a few weeks’ time.

This glorious news was confirmed in a post on Twitter by Molly Quinn (Alexis), who said that production will star for the actors on Tuesday, July 9; as for the publicity photo shoot (which will produce another image like the one you see attached to this article), it will take place the day before. This is just a few weeks before some of the actors could feasibly attend Comic-Con, whether it be as a part of the show or just on their own.

This production start date falls on the earlier end for fall series, but most of the dramas and single-camera comedies do start shooting at some point in July. There is no confirmed premiere date just yet for season 6, but all signs point to it yet again being either Monday, September 23 or the following week, given that this is when the fall season traditionally does get off to its annual start. Within the first episode, we should have some sort of answer as to whether or not we are going to see Beckett accept Castle’s proposal, and also if she is going to take a job in Washington DC that could separate her from the people that she loves.

As for Quinn’s Alexis, we merely hope to see her doing more of her own thing. This includes getting an opportunity to meet a love interest for her, mostly because the interaction with Nathan Fillion would be priceless.

Speaking of Fillion, if you want to have your “Castle” thirst temporary quenched, the best way you can do so is by heading on over to the link here.
