‘Glee’ season 5: Lea Michele teases potential end for album recording

While some “Glee” stars have spent their hiatus before season 5 traveling around the world or filming movie roles, Lea Michele has done something else entirely. She has chosen to stay in one place rather than go all over, and try to ensure that her upcoming solo album is completed in time so that when the Fox series starts up again that she will only be focusing on that.

Luckily for her, it appears as though she is almost done her album. In a recent post on Twitter,  Lea confirmed that she is in the closing stages of the recording process, which has been relatively extensive ever since the project was first announced. As for when we could end up seeing this disc arrive in store shelves, the simple answer is “wait and see.” Considering all of the post-production that will need to be done, along with promotion and getting a date right when it comes to managing competition, don’t expect the disc to be out next week. (We would say that a November release would be a smart release time to make money during the holiday season.)

The preparation for “Glee” season 5 should be pretty easy for Lea to manage. She has already spent the past several weeks recording, so her voice should be in pretty good shape. Not only that, but her relationship with Cory Monteith (who is now in recovery following a stint in rehab) seems to also be going strong. The two are going to have plenty of time to spend together all this coming year, since you have to imagine that Finn and Rachel will be closer together now than they were most of the second half of last season.
