‘Homeland’ season 3 spoilers: Claire Danes spotted at one filming location
“Homeland” season 3 production is officially under way, and while we have no idea where Damian Lewis is (and nor do we want to know, for the sake of being completely spoiled), we can at least write a little bit about the current whereabouts of Claire Danes and her character of Carrie Mathison.
On Monday, the actress was one of many members of the show’s production spotted outside of the North Carolina Supreme Court building, which is where many scenes at least for the early episodes are being filmed. Is this meant to recreate the actual Supreme Court? We have a feeling that the answer here is “yes,” given that this state is the home of the vast majority of the show’s production.
So what could Carrie be up to when it comes to visiting the highest chain of the judicial branch? If we were to make some sort of educated guess, the easy answer here would be that she, along with possibly Saul, is going to have to answer for some of what has transpired when it comes to their handling of the Brody / Abu Nazir crisis. There is going to be at least one Committee Chairman intent on pressing them for answers, and this cannot be conceived as a good thing in any way, shape or form.
As for the rest of the known story, much of it will focus on the sort of correlation between social media and protecting the nation, and how the two parties can at times be symbiotic and also dangerous. There is really no other series out there as current to the times as this one, so it will be intriguing to see how this works out.
