‘Glee’ season 5 spoilers: Darren Criss talks Blaine’s possible move, story plans

What is coming next on “Glee” season 5? If you’re looking for concrete details, the only people who may know for sure are the show’s creators and writing staff. While it is pretty easy to speculate on the show’s future, to the point where we have done it often, there are still not enough concrete details out there for us to sit here and say definitively that any one thing is going to happen.

With that being said, these people all have to graduate at some point, right? Moving into the start of the new season, the plan is to keep the New Directions in high school for at least half of the year, and then potentially change it up to the spring as we move into what should be the future for the rest of these characters’ lives. Could New York City be in the cards for some graduates? When you considering who is in the Big Apple already, you know that Darren Criss’ Blaine certainly seems to be considering it. Speaking in a new interview with E! News, the actor had the following to say both about New York, and about what the strategy for the show could be in kicking off the fifth season:

“[Blaine] seems to want to go to New York, I’d be cool with that. I’d always rather be in New York! … We ended [season 4] in the middle of the year. So I would presume when we pick up season four, the year will go on and we will graduate. But who knows? Maybe we’ll be stuck in senior year forever! They can do whatever they want.”
