‘Glee’ season 5 notes: Darren Criss’ tour opener, Naya Rivera’s new cover

“Glee” fans, why not kick off the day by checking out some of what of your favorites stars are doing during their summer vacation, and when it comes specifically to Darren Criss, you can actually see what he is been up to.

On Wednesday night, the actor behind Blaine Anderson kicked off his summer “Listen Up” tour with a show in San Francisco with a set that included a little bit of everything, from old favorites to new tracks to of course even some music that he has done on “Glee” itself. Take, for example, “Teenage Dream,” which to us is probably the second-most impactful song ever performed on the show next to “Don’t Stop Believin'” during the pilot episode.

Naya’s new cover – As for Naya Rivera, she is currently living the dream yet again of magazine cover girl. The actress / singer is featured on the cover of the newest Glow Magazine, where she also talks about her life and beauty within the pages. You can check out a few sample pictures for the shoot here.

Both Naya and Darren have a little less that two months left on their summer vacation, and then it’s back to work in getting ready for “Glee” season 5. This is going to be a crazy season, and they both have question marks currently in their characters’ love lives. With Heather Morris likely gone for most of the year, those questions probably loom a little larger for Rivera’s Santana.
