NBC’s ‘Revolution’ season 1 finale spoilers: New details on ‘The Dark Tower’
Yesterday, we shared the very first promo for the season 1 finale of “Revolution,” and we’re now back with a little something to go along with it: The first major details that are coming out via NBC. You know with a title like “The Dark Tower” that producers really are holding nothing back, and you definitely see this more than ever in some of the details that we are about to present.
We begin here by talking about the official synopsis that we have to share below for the episode, which really does tease a life-or-death situation for many of these characters:
“Life-threatening dangers abound on all sides as the Rebels infiltrate the Tower. Miles’ (Billy Burke) leadership abilities and character are sorely tested as well as his feelings for Rachel (Elizabeth Mitchell) and Nora (Danielle Alonso). Aaron’s (Zak Orth) genius comes in handy while Tom Neville (Giancarlo Esposito) and Randall Flynn (Colm Feore) bring new meaning to the dark side.”
Producers have been very cagey thus far when it comes to talking about whether or not there could be any significant deaths during this final episode, but we do have to submit to it being a definite possibility. This is a show that lives to surprise you, and there would be no greater shock than seeing another body fall at this point. We just wonder if it will have the same sort of emotional impact as what we saw with Danny earlier this spring.
If there is a death, we still don’t see it happening by the world becoming a towering inferno, that just seems too far a reach, even for a sci-fi show.
What do you think about this synopsis, and are you going to be okay with a massive cliffhanger that carries over into “Revolution” season 2? If you want to read even more details about this episode, you can do so over at the link here.
