‘Britain’s Got Talent’ results: Did MD, Jack Carroll, or Gabz advance to final?

Britain's Got TalentWhile there were a number of contenders yesterday leading into the “Britain’s Got Talent” results show, we really felt as though the vote was going to be pretty predictable this time around. For us, comedian Jack Carroll was a complete no-brainer: He was funny, distinct, and really had a personality that would make people want to root for him, and even potentially pay to see him live someday.

As for the other act, we figured it to be a toss-up between Alice Fredenham, despite having a mistake in her performance, or original singer Gabz. In this case, we would lean more towards Alice, if for no other reason than that we’ve only heard the latter sing one thing, and it would be rather drab to hear the same exact song in the final again.

So were we correct? Not entirely. Jack and Gabz were both there, but they were joined by … Jac and Cormac? Apparently, the requirement to be good on this show is to be a child.

Jack was the person who won the night, but then this actually was a pretty easy decision for the judges to make. Jac and Cormac are lovely young guys, but they were really not ready for prime time. Britain did not make the right choice in the voting tonight, and the judges were pretty quick to send Gabz through without Simon Cowell even needed to cast a vote in her direction.

Thanks to this, we have a final right now consisting of three singers and a comedian … so at least there’s some variety?

What do you think about the results, and do you believe that the right people ended up leaving the competition? Be sure to share your thoughts below, and you can read our full review of the performance show over at the link here.
