‘Switched at Birth’ season 2 spoilers: First details on the next three episodes

Switched at BirthJune 10 begins a pretty big week for ABC Family. While “Pretty Little Liars” will start to unravel the Red Coat mystery beginning on Tuesday, June 11, the day before will mark the return of “Switched at Birth” to wrap up the rest of its second season.

So what shoudl you expect? Hopefully more fun, interesting, and groundbreaking stories to go along with everything that took place in the first half of the season. The first episode back is one that ABC Family was kind enough to talk about in detail, as you can see courtesy of the official press release below:

“While Regina has been away at rehab, Daphne has grown closer to the Kennish family, spending her days at their country club and her nights in their guest room. This new family dynamic does not sit well with Regina, who unexpectedly returns home early in hopes of spending more time with Daphne. Bay begrudgingly starts working at her dad’s office and, when her car breaks down near a local carnival, runs into her ex-boyfriend, Ty (guest star Blair Redford, “The Lying Game”), who has returned from serving in Afghanistan. Meanwhile, Travis talks Emmett into bringing some girls over to the house while Melody is out of town, and Kathryn’s elaborate ideas for Toby and Nikki’s rehearsal dinner rubs Nikki the wrong way.”

There aren’t as many details to share about the episodes that are airing in the following weeks, but we do have some short synopses via SpoilerTV:

Episode 2×12, “Distorted House” (airing June 17) – “Ty and Bay reconnect; Kathryn and Daphne take part in a tennis tournament.”

Episode 2×13, “The Good Samaritan” (airing June 24) – “Bay tries to reignite Toby’s love for music by landing him a gig; Bay and Daphne’s relationship begins to heal.”
