‘Suits’ season 3 spoilers: Sarah Rafferty talks Harvey, Donna’s past

In just under two months now, the wait for new “Suits” episodes will finally be over. Isn’t this a cause for celebration? We’re doing a small dance right now, one that will probably be succeeded by a metaphorical conga line once some actual footage from the season is released.

For now, what we have to share is some more details on that much-hyped flashback episode that will allow us to meet Harvey’s father, and also take us to where the big-shot lawyer was ten years ago, when he was grinding his teeth in the world of law. Speaking to TV Guide, Sarah Rafferty promises that this episode will contain some moments that longtime fans of the pairing will certainly appreciate:

“We did a five-year flashback last season and now we go back even further and you’ll see the origins of their relationship, and how Harvey became who he is,”

Rafferty also touches on the arrival of a new man in the firm who is by and large the British version of Harvey, but based on what she is saying now, it sadly does not appear as though there is a British version of Donna joining him for the time being:

“As far as I know, there’s no British Donna… yet. But I kind of hope they add one because that’d be fun to see their interaction and her relationship with [British Harvey].”

Harvey and Donna have quickly developed quite a loyal following, and who knows what will happen between the two? With Mike gone from the firm, the entire social dynamic is likely going to change.
