‘Teen Mom’: Farrah Abraham lands potential new TV gig
There’s no real way to avoid it: The past several months have been pretty ugly ones for the cast of “Teen Mom.” Amber Portwood is still in jail, Jenelle Evans has been in and out of the slammer, and while Farrah Abraham has not broken any laws, she has certainly showed way more of herself than a lot of people probably wanted to see courtesy of a certain DVD that has hit the market.
Now, word is that there is another production company interested in bringing Farrah on board in the midst of all of the “attention” that she has been getting. In a statement on Facebook confirmed by the reality star, a company called Spinboi Films has announced that they are working on developing some sort of reality “docu-soap” that could star Farrah. Notice that the key word here is “developing.” This show does not have a network, has not been filmed, and could disappear into thin air as many “in development” projects do. It’s way too early to tell.
With her recent actions, it’s fairly clear that Farrah does want to remain in the limelight following her time on the MTV show, and she is actually one of the only stars of the show to pursue fame on this level. While Maci Bookout has done some speaking engagements, the likes of Catelynn Lowell, Mailyn Lowry, and Leah Messer Calvert have decided by and large to focus more on their families utilizing the money that they have made thanks to appearing on various shows.
If this show makes it to air, we cannot personally say that we will be viewing, only because we don’t know what she brings to the table when it comes to entertainment. (Then again, people wondered the same things about Kim Kardashian.)
