‘Suits’ season 3 spoilers: Gabriel Macht teases relentless Harvey

At this point, we’re sure that you are ready to have a little bit more “Suits” on the air, even if the truth is that you are still going to be waiting for a little while before you see the show return to USA with new episodes on Tuesday, July 16. This means that there is still slightly less than two months before you have a much-needed dose of snark, the Mike / Rachel relationship drama, and to see how the merger changes up the world of the firm yet again.

But where will Harvey be when the show picks up? He’s distanced Mike from his life in about the most permanent way that a business superior can, but given that Patrick J. Adams is still a part of the cast, you have to imagine that the door is still open for a return, right? Based on what Gabriel Macht had to say in a chat with Digital Spy, the absence of Mike is going to be pretty much be a non-factor when it comes to Harvey’s confidence level early on in the season:

“Look, I think some of his confidence is bluster – it’s his way to overcompensate for what’s going on inside of him. But he’s a very ambitious guy and he’s not just gonna take a back seat. He makes decisions that could be potential errors of judgement, that take him in different directions.”

Macht also hinted that the upcoming flashback episode this season is going to showcase a slightly different side to the character than what we have caught previously. Specifically, you will be surprised at the sort of relationships that he had with some of the other employees.
