‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 6 finale spoilers: The Lucy dilemma explained

RajIs Raj actually going to have his relationship with Lucy last? If you look back at the history of “The Big Bang Theory,” then the odds are in his favor. These people have had quite a bit of luck when it comes to making relationships last, which you could argue is far different from real life in the sense that many geeks have trouble landing relationships at all, let alone keeping them together for the long-term.

In the latest sneak peek below for the episode for Thursday night’s finale, we’ve quickly learned here that there is another problem that could keep the two permanently stuck in one gear. Lucy hasn’t met any of his friends, and in some ways, it’s almost like he’s living two separate lives. Sure, he’s reasonably understanding for now, but how long will that last? The luxury for Raj (if you can call if a luxury at all) is that he can at least get away from some of his problems if he picks up a bottle of booze. Meanwhile, Lucy is just stuck in one gear, and there’s no temporary fix for her social problems.

The video below also sets up another season-finale-sort-of-problem: Howard recommending Leonard for a job working for Stephen Hawking overseas on a project regarding black hole testing. This is the sort of something that could devastate the relationship he has with Penny, at least unless he somehow finds a way to make it work despite the huge amount of distance that is going to be put between them very soon.

What’s your take: Will Raj and Lucy stay together, or is it still too much at this point to have a group of four guys all involved in serious relationships? For more video footage from the episode, just check out the story over at the link here.
