“The Walking Dead” season 4 started production up officially this week, and judging on the first photo that was released by AMC on Friday, zombies are getting glamorous! Of course, by that we simply just mean that one managed to find a sport coat. (It’s a good thing they’re not human, given that they would probably be burning up in this.)
Unfortunately, there is really not much else that we can say about this. There is Andrew Lincoln’s Rick, and there is a zombie. That’s it. Then again, they have (to be fair) not had very much in the way of time to actually film the show yet, so we cannot really expect to see a slaughterhouse of gore come in as the first real image. Plus, you know that they are not going to be too keen on the idea of sharing massive spoiler content a whopping five months before the series comes back on.
Here is what we know so far: “The Walking Dead” picks up at least a few months (but less than a year) after the events in season 3, meaning the The Governor is going to have some time to recoup following his loss and subsequent psychotic episode. It also means that Rick and the prison camp may have figured out a new system with all of the new people that they have brought on board from Woodbury. It’s always so much fun to descend into chaos following a time of normalcy, isn’t it? Well, things could be just about as normal as a zombie apocalypse could be when the new episodes begin.
In case you want to learn how to be a zombie (and who doesn’t), we also have just the thing for you: A first look into zombie school, complete with walking tutorials and what it takes to crave human flesh on the show. Be sure to check it out here.
