‘Glee’ season 4 song spoilers: Jessica Sanchez covers Little Mix on finale

Jessica SanchezThe strategy of song choices for Frida Romero and the Hoosierdaddies at Regionals on the “Glee” season 4 finale seems to be pretty simple: Have them cover songs that are slowly working their way up the charts here in America. First, we posted the audio of her cover of Zedd’s “Clarity” (featuring Foxes), and this time around, we have a performance of the group taking on a hit from one of Britain’s most-popular girl groups in Little Mix.

These four ladies, like Jessica Sanchez, all made a name for themselves on a reality show, in their case “The X Factor,” which they won back in 2011. When it comes to music, there is hardly any difference at all between Sanchez’s version of the song, and what we see in the original. The only major change is that rather than have four ladies tackle the meat of the song, Sanchez anchors the entire thing backed up by the rest of her show choir.

We still don’t really know very much about the Frida character, save for the fact that she has developed a reputation as some sort of “legendary” singer in the Indiana school in which she attends. Early casting notes suggested that she was nice and reasonably humble when she is off stage, but thus far we really have not seen anything of her in order to confirm or deny that.

The timing of Sanchez’s appearances on the show could not be any more perfect, as her debut album “Me, You, & the Music” is currently in stores. We will ultimately be able to find out her entire first-week sales in just a matter of days.
