‘Hart of Dixie’ finale spoilers: Zoe, Wade, and George all over again

At the end of tonight’s “Hart of Dixie” episode, there was certainly a glimmer of hope for Zoe and Wade fans that the two characters were going to get back together. After all, the two spent the night together in what was a moment of weakness for Rachel Bilson’s character, who was feeling confused and emotional over some rather shocking information that ran the risk of shaking up her life yet again.

So what is going to happen next? Well, the first promo below for “On the Road Again” perfectly showcases quite possibly the worst situation ever for George, and one in which he has to question yet again whether or not his feelings for Zoe are something that are worth pursuing.

Meanwhile, Zoe is going to have an opportunity to pursue something completely outside of the state of Alabama: A job opening in New York City. Her former chief is going to potentially offer her a job that takes her back in familiar territory, but also out of the place that she has called home for the past two years. What’s the good news here? That she has a chance to really further her career beyond just trying to treat people in a small town. It’s a much more fast-paced environment, and surely one that leads to her making a great deal more money.

On the flip side, the bad news here is that Zoe will be giving up a good part of herself if she does move back, and nothing between her and Wade or George will probably ever happen. They may all be in the United States, but they may as well be in different worlds.
