‘True Blood’ season 6 promo: Open a ‘Bottle’ and enjoy

If there are just a few words that we can use to describe the latest “True Blood” promo straight from HBO, it is “a bloody mess.” While we don’t have the opportunity here to check out any new footage, this is at least a new way to take a look at the famous drink that the show is centered around.

Perhaps what is the most interesting part of this clip is merely getting the opportunity to hear some voices old and new speak out about the crisis caused by the destruction of several True Blood factories. Without this beverage, vampires will be hungry, and they will have to turn to the obvious alternative in the real thing. Even peaceful vamps are going to have a hard time keeping their urges at bay.

To make things even more convoluted at the moment, the entire Vampire Authority has pretty much been wiped off of the map, and in its place we have the demigod form of Bill Compton in Billith. What sort of  trouble is he set to bring to Bon Temps now? The jury is still out on that one, but expect there to be quite a bit of drama that ends up unfolding thanks to his transformation, and only a few other members of the vampire family are really safe at the end of the day (along with maybe Sookie, since there is no way we see her being hurt).
