‘True Blood’ season 6 spoilers: Alexander Skarsgard’s Eric in the spotlight (video)

Have you been dying to sink your teeth into some new Eric Northman footage from “True Blood” season 6? If your answer to this is “yes,” then we definitely have some good news for you.

The latest edition of the HBO show’s “Waiting Sucks” video series focuses entirely on Alexander Skarsgard’s character, as he tries to uncover something to help protect the future of all vampires: A facility where all sorts of terrible things happen to his own kind. If there is one thing we have learned about Eric, it is that he will do just about anything necessary in order to ensure that his dreams end up becoming a reality. With that in mind, it’s fair to say that you should really not expect anything different here at all.

Eric’s character has been a fan favorite ever since the very beginning of the show, and there have long been questions as to where his character could end up heading this season. All of his kind is in a precarious position as not only is the Vampire Authority as we once knew it completely gone, but Bill Compton has been seemingly reborn as a vampire god after drinking the blood of Lilith. We don’t know if there is any way to reverse the process, and even if there is, this is hardly a guarantee that Bill would even want to do something like this.

The new season of “True Blood” begins on Sunday, June 16, and we will have many more “Waiting Sucks” videos to air before that time.
