‘Glee’ season 4 finale spoilers: Lea Michele’s Rachel will perform…

Lea MicheleWith May 9 serving as the finale for “Glee” season 4, that only means one thing: There will officially be a Rachel Berry solo! You could not have an important episode of this show seemingly without Lea Michele’s character front and center for it, and even with Cory Monteith sitting this one out due to his time in rehab, there is still plenty of story to tell for the character. She has her future at NYADA to contend with, what is going on with her friends at regionals, and also the mystery as to whether or not she will land the role of her dreams in “Funny Girl.”

We can’t tell you the answer to that last question, but we do know what her last musical number of the season will be the Celine Dion number “To Love You More.” We anticipate there being plenty of emotion here as she sings it, just as we imagine that she will also be singing it to someone since words are never hollow on this show, even in song.

When it comes specifically to the Broadway production, it is callbacks that should be the focus when this episodes airs. Unless there is some sort of surprise announcement, it does not look like she is suddenly going to be belting out a number with the help of some imagined versions of her fellow New Directions members.

There are two episodes left until that finale, so hang tight and we’ll have more scoop when we are closer to the episode airing. What do you think about Rachel’s last performance of the season? You can read some more details from the upcoming finale here, or if you want to take things a little slower for now and read about Thursday night’s episode “Lights Out,” you can also do that at this link.
