Kim Zolciak meets ‘Downton Abbey,’ is thankfully not a season 4 plotline

The trendy thing to do these days seems to be to come up with a clever mash-up of your show alongside “Downton Abbey,” so with that in mind, it is hardly a shock to see this happen with the help of Laura Linney (famous for introducing such classic things) along with former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kim Zolciak.

The video below via “Watch What Happens Live” introduces us to what would quite possibly be the most horrifying thought for a season 4 plotline yet (and this includes some of the videos that we’ve seen featuring the “Downton Abbey” gang as zombies): “Don’t Be Tardy for the Abbey,” which combines Kim’s kooky world with the Dowager Countess. Of course, chaos ensues, and toilet humor becomes mixed with British history. (If this really was a storyline, Dan Stevens would be thanking his lucky stars that he got out at just the right time.)

We’re not trying to throw shade on Kim here. She’s great on her own show, and the two mashed together is actually pretty funny for a few seconds. The irony here is Lord Grantham probably imagines that this is what his world is becoming on the upcoming season: A land stuffed full of jokes about butts and people behaving badly in public. After all, is there anyone set as far back as him, or who freaks out as much over the tiniest thing changing? To him, that jazz scene during the season 3 finale would be akin to Kim shouting at someone during a “Real Housewives” reunion show.
