‘Survivor Caramoan: Fans vs. Favorites’ preview: Take a look at the immunity challenge

We don’t have a specific clip from Wednesday night’s “Survivor Caramoan: Fans vs. Favorites” episode to share at this time, but we do have something else that is certainly welcome: A first look at the upcoming immunity challenge!

This is a challenge that we particularly are fond of, mostly because it really seems to be a challenge that is actually fair more than many others from the past. The objective here is pretty simple: hang tight on a rope that is keeping up a log, and over time you have to grab hold of smaller and smaller knots until at the end, it is just you grabbing a rope with a heavy slab of wood on the other end of it. The logs are proportional to the weight of each castaway, which means that Malcolm and Eddie are going to be having to hold up much more than either Cochran or Brenda.

So who is therefore most likely to win this? We’d actually be just fine betting on Brenda here, since she has proven herself to be a challenge competitor, and also someone with an extremely high level of focus. The Three Amigos need this win the most, but they may also have the hardest time given how much weight they will be lugging. Even if one of them wins it, the other two are in danger, and we’re not quite sure that there are even going to be two more immunity idols thrown back into the game. (We expect one more to enter play, and that’s really it.)
