‘The X Factor’ USA notes: Carly Rose Sonenclar, Emblem3, Cheryl Cole

Emblem3While there are no earth-shattering announcements coming out now in the world of “The X Factor,” we will start this up with an announcement of our own: our interview with season 2 champion Tate Stevens will be up tomorrow! We chatted with him on Thursday and got some insight into not just what happened behind the scenes on the show, but some of his history in performing back before he tried to settle down and have a family.

But for now, let’s talk about some other acts, including how Emblem3 has apparently seen the full spectrum of fan behavior thanks to some of their recent touring gigs. Speaking to Teen Vogue in a recent interview, here is what band member Drew Chadwick specifically had to say on the subject:

“[It’s] mostly good-crazy, but we’ve seen some bad-crazy. We’ve seen some violent things happen, like girls ripping each other’s hair out and punching each other in the face. We’re like ‘Yo, yo, yo we’re peace activists here! You’re not a fan if you’re killing each other to get into front row!'”

While most of the fan-wars these days happen over Twitter, the quote above proves that there is still plenty of this same thing happening even in real life.

Happy early birthday … to Carly Rose Sonenclar! We thought we’d get a little bit of a jump on this, but the singer has managed to accomplish so much in her 13th year on this earth that it will be beyond interesting to see what she does in the 14th. Just in the past week alone, she managed to attend the “Stand Up for A Cure” benefit in New York City, proving that she is managing to stay active with her charity work despite being busy with everything from music to school.

Cheryl has no regrets – Remember those few awesome days when Cheryl Cole was a judge on the “X Factor” show stateside? Well, it turns out that she does not regret taking the risk with here in the USA or any other moment of her career. Here is what she told “Daybreak” on the subject:

“I wouldn’t change anything, I think all your experiences, good or bad, shape the way you conduct yourself, the way you handle future situations so I wouldn’t change anything. It’s been incredible.”

While we don’t know if Cheryl will ever judge another “X Factor” season, she has at least somewhat repaired her relationship with Simon Cowell, and even helped mentor Gary Barlow’s acts as judges’ houses in the UK last year.
