‘Survivor Caramoan: Fans vs. Favorites’ preview: Andrea Boehlke’s ‘romance’

Sorry, international fans: the following sneak peek for Wednesday night’s “Survivor Caramoan: Fans vs. Favorites” episode is strictly for American audiences. However, we’ll still do our best to explain what transpires.

Oh, young “Survivor” love. It’s so complicated, isn’t it? Not only do you have to figure out whether or not someone really likes you, but you also have to figure out whether or not they are going to screw you over in the end. When it comes to Eddie Fox and Andrea Boehlke, this is certainly the situation that we find ourselves in at the moment. On paper, they seem like a good match, but when it comes to strategy, they’re not really on the same page.

What’s the biggest problem with Andrea getting away from the game to spend time with one of the Fans? The answer is simple: he’s on the outs with the merged tribe as a whole. Her closest ally thus far in the game has in some ways been Phillip Sheppard, and he has always been someone that emphasizes sticking close to your original alliance. How would he feel about her potentially pairing up with someone else instead? Not only that, but the other members of this “Stealth R Us” establishment (namely Cochran and Dawn, who have proven themselves to be rather sneaky) may have something to say about this at the end of the day.

We don’t want to judge whether or not these two are good or bad for each other, but it seems like Andrea is sticking her neck out here more than Eddie is. After all, he doesn’t really disclose anything to her at all, including the knowledge that Reynold has a hidden immunity idol. Eddie may not be in the best spot, but he’s at least playing smart.
