The Challenge: Ride or Dies finale: Who won? Final outcome
Entering the episode, there were three duos left all doing their best to fight for the grand prize: Devin & Tori, Bananas & Nany, and Jordan & Aneesa. Of the three, Bananas & Nany were the safest bet just based on experience / where they stood at the end of last week’s episode. Of course, we’ve also seen enough seasons of the franchise to know that nothing is necessarily stable. There is always room for things to change over time! We gotta expect some of that here and there. It’s a foregone conclusion that the remaining stages are going to be physically grueling, given that this happens anytime you stage a 100-hour event — and you also find a way to push these vets in new ways.
With that in mind, let’s start to get more into the results to the last stage of the final. (Let’s just hope that the end here is a million times better than the awful conclusion to The Challenge USA from this past summer.) Be sure to refresh the piece for some more updates!
The big surprise – Tori & Devin were the winners, but this actually wasn’t the big surprise. Instead, it was how anticlimactic it felt when the two had the massive lead and Bananas couldn’t keep going. He and Nany didn’t quit per se, but they basically stood there as the winners were crowned.
This wasn’t exactly the most eventful end of the season and honestly, we didn’t love the format of this, either. Somehow, making this feel a little more like a standard trip to the Zone took some of the air out of what was a really grueling series of challenges before that.
Still, congrats to the winners … and let’s just hope for a more eventful end next time.
