‘House of Lies’ finale spoilers: Everything goes completely awry

With Sunday night being the finale for “House of Lies” season 2, and with there also still being so many directions that the story could go in, you have to believe that the writers are really going to try and cram as much as humanly possible into the span of a few short minutes.

Take, for example, a quickie wedding that may be set up in Las Vegas during the half-hour between Doug and Sarah. In the sneak peek video below, you can start to get at least some sense of what exactly happens when a free ring enters the picture and puts Doug in an extremely compromising position. After all, it’s pretty fair to say that he and most of their associates are distracted with not only a deal that Marty is throwing together at the 11th hour, but the potential of moving to a new firm that is created solely by him.

“Doug pops the question to his girlfriend, Sarah (JENNY SLATE), who plans a shotgun wedding in Las Vegas on the eve of the Pod closing a major business deal. Marty’s backhanded dealings lead to increased tension and unintended consequences for everyone.”

The question that we want answered the most at the moment is unfortunately not even addressed in the synopsis: what in the world is going to happen with Marty and Jeanie now? The two are both single now, and while there are moments where they seem completely wrong for each other, there are also those times in which we genuinely want to root for them to figure this out.
