‘The Walking Dead’ season 3 finale spoilers: David Morrissey talks fate of The Governor

The GovernorAre we about to be at the end of the road for The Governor on “The Walking Dead”? David Morrissey is just one of many actors at the moment whose life is in the balance, and we do know already that we will be seeing at least one person perish by the time that season 3 comes to a close.

Of course, the actor was mum in a recent chat with E! News as to whether or not we would be seeing the biggest villain of the season pass away; however, he was at least kind enough to explain a little bit about what the process was like in constructing the episode, and what needed to be done in order to ensure that it played right on TV:

“It’s a spectacular finale. There’s a real conclusion to some stories. But in the real tradition of the show, it’s full of surprises … When we read the episode, we were all, ‘How are we going to shoot this?’ It’s big. It’s massive. It’s a big ole movie, actually. It’s got everything you want from a Walking Dead episode.”

Meanwhile, Laurie Holden, who has been through plenty of tight spots already this season as Andrea, also talked a little bit about what her fate could feasibly be:

“I’ll tell you one thing, Andrea is a fighter, and she’s not ever going to be a victim.”

Thus far, “The Walking Dead” has certainly contained its fair share of shocking moments this season, with two of the more emotional deaths coming to us in between Merle Dixon and Lori earlier this season. In addition to figuring out who is going to die, the producers also have another challenge coming up: trying to find a way to set the stage for what the setting moving forward is going to be.

Who do you think is the most likely to die on “The Walking Dead” finale? Be sure to share some of your thoughts, and you can hear what Norman Reedus had to say about the future for Daryl over here.
