‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 4 spoilers: Caroline’s choice for Klaus

When “The Vampire Diaries” season 4 airs its next new episode on The CW Thursday night, we are going to see some of our favorite characters faced with difficult choices. Specifically, we are talking about Candice Accola’s part of Caroline, as she has to deal with whether or not she can really destroy someone in Klaus who has already made quite a few moves in order to ruin her life.

So what sort of options is she faced with? According to TV Guide, the character is going to find Klaus this week virtually near death, as he struggles to heal himself and is desperately in need of someone’s help. It’s true that Caroline could help him, and restore the original hybrid back to some of its former glory. However, she just has to question whether or not this is something that she really wants to do. Are there some romantic feelings there? Sure, as we have seen them crop up even in passing glances from time to time. However, there is a pretty major difference between having a feeling and acting on it.

Who knows, though? It is always possible that we could see Caroline act on some sort of feeling, but then cut a deal with Klaus to ensure that he is no longer directly in her life. After all, there has to be some reason why this guy finally opts to leave Mystic Falls, and being told to go away in return for having a future seems to be a pretty great trade-off.
