ABC’s ‘Scandal’ season 2 spoilers: Will another body fall?

If there is one thing that we can count on at this point with a show like “Scandal,” it is that we are going to have plenty to be surprised by. There are constantly power-hungry characters walking to do everything that they can to get ahead, and you add to this people with affairs and a master of espionage in Heck, and you ultimately have what is a pretty motley crew of individuals that you can never fully predict.

Earlier this season, we saw a particular scary situation unfold as President Fitzgerald Grant nearly died after an assassination attempt on his life, and the woman who was ultimately responsible for making the hit on them was killed by his own hand in revenge. So is this the end of the stories that are going to keep people’s lives hanging in the balance? Oh, we wish that it was.

Rather, TVLine is reporting that there will be at least one recurring character on the show that is going to end up meeting a pretty grim end by the end of this season, though it is currently very much under wraps as to who this person could be. Part of the problem here is that there are so many faces that it’s hard to really single out an individual face. Could Scott Foley accomplish the real feat of dying on two straight Shonda Rhimes series, or are we looking more at an unhappy end for Hollis Doyle? Both are good guesses, but there are no answers that we can share to go along with that.
