‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 9 spoilers: ‘All My Children’ favorite cast as…

Even though we are inching ever closer to the end of “Grey’s Anatomy” season 9, Shonda Rhimes and company are still not abandoning some of the patient-related storylines that have produced the likes of Emmy nominations and critical acclaim in the past. As a matter of fact, we know now that a certain popular star from the soap opera world is coming on board for an appearance soon.

According to a new report from TVLine, “All My Children” actress Jennifer Bassey (who you may otherwise know for her character name of Marion Colby Chandler) is set to appear in a pair of episodes starting with the 21st one of the season. As for specifics pertaining to her role, she will be the grandmother of a little boy who is going through a pretty horrible time as his parents were both critically injured in a car accident.

At this very moment, the story for the rest of “Grey’s Anatomy” this season really is a mystery. The plane crash lawsuit seems done now and the doctors are settling in at the newly-named Grey-Sloan Memorial Hospital, and now the major thing that we are really waiting on is seeing whether or not the likes of Alex / Jo and Jackson / April happen again. Plus, we do also have the issue of Meredith’s baby, and you know that there is certainly going to be plenty of drama pertaining to that

Following Bassey’s appearance on the show, we will have one more episode before we finally reach the season 9 finale.
