‘Glee’ season 4 spoilers: Ryan Murphy teases NeNe Leakes’ return

RozIf you have been missing a little bit of Coach Roz Washington on “Glee” as of late, you are probably beaming with the following news: the swim coach is coming back for at least one episode very soon. Executive producer Ryan Murphy posted the following picture on his Twitter account this week, and it seems almost as though he has caught Roz mid-conversation.

So what exactly is NeNe Leakes’ character going to be doing? Sadly, we don’t quite know, but the last time that we saw the character, she was actually working alongside Sue Sylvester to try and take over McKinley High. It was really one of the few storylines that has taken place for Jane Lynch’s character over the past two seasons that really made any sense at all for the character, but it was cut off in part thanks to Leakes playing a pretty significant role in the NBC comedy “The New Normal” (also produced by Murphy).

With the future of “The New Normal” in doubt thanks to some low ratings, it is very possible that we could see Leakes coming back on the show for more in season 5 … at least so long as McKinley plays a crucial role on the show moving forward. “Glee” still has not been technically renewed for more action, and even if it is, there is no guarantee that we could see the same show that we have given how many familiar characters are graduating and moving forward with their lives.
