‘Mad Men’ season 6 spoilers: Scoop on Don, Megan, and the premiere

As secretive as Matthew Weiner and AMC may be about the sixth season of “Mad Men,” some lucky members of the media are getting the opportunity now to check out the show’s April 7 premiere prior to it actually airing. So what happens? We’re still not getting any concrete details, but E! News did recently share a few hints that are worth speculating about in the weeks ahead.

First and foremost, we have learned that there will be two deaths … but also a wedding. You will also see Megan Draper wearing very little clothing, and the answer to the key question from the season 5 finale will be answered: did Don cheat on her when he went to the bar? We’ve spent all of this time wanting to hope that he is changed man, but this is still Don Draper that we are talking about here, and the bad thing about history is that many are doomed to repeat it.

Some of the more general teases that we have heard for the season are that both Betty and Peggy will have substantial roles despite being in rather interesting places within the world of the show, and that Betty will look more than a little different than she did through much of season 5. (Then again, the “Fat Betty” storyline was really just created due to her pregnancy at the time.) There will be some new faces in the world of SCDP, but producers have been keen to keep most of that under wraps for the time being.
