‘Big Brother Canada’ live feed spoilers: Nominations and Power of Veto results

Big Brother CanadaIf you are still around tonight to check out this “Big Brother Canada” update, then first of all a massive round of applause to you. It’s a good thing that the live feeds are free, since we have a feeling that there would be riots in the streets if the feeds were down this much for the show in America. Yesterday, much of the down time was to take care of Emmett cheating-gate, but today we spent most of the day figuring that it was thanks to the Nomination Ceremony, picking players, and the Power of Veto Competition happening over the course of several hours. Usually, the house can spread some of these events out, but the extra HoH competition forced things to get a little bit behind.

There are spoilers ahead, so you’ve been warned.

You likely know already if you’re reading this that Gary is the man in power, and we can tell you now that he put up both Tom and Liza on the block. Meanwhile, Alec won the Power of Veto, and this creates a pretty interesting scenario for the group. Basically, Gary knows that he can get rid of one of these two this week since so many people in the house want them gone, and the next one will likely go in the week that follows. We’re surprised that Alec even fought for the Veto to begin with given that he doesn’t want to be a target, and using it will definitely show to the other houseguests that he’s working with Tom or Liza. If he does use it, the best recourse would be for Gary to put up someone like Peter, who the whole house loves and would never vote to evict.

What do you think about the results of today’s events? If you want to check out what was happening in the house prior to the nominations overnight, you can do so over at the link here.
