ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 5 spoilers: Tamala Jones talks Lanie, Esposito’s future

All season long we have heard almost constantly about both Rick and Kate on “Castle.” So with that in mind, are we finally about to get some long-awaited scoop on another fan favorite couple? Based on what Tamala Jones is saying now, it certainly sounds like Lanie and Esposito fans are not going to be waiting any longer than a month to find out some more information on their favorite couple’s future.

In a new interview with TVLine, Jones had the following to say on the subject of where this couple stands following the date that they had back on Valentine’s Day, and also where she could see the two of them heading moving forward into what will be a pivotal episode:

“[They] are seeing each other, and have been secretly seeing each other. I think possibly you’ll see a little bit more action between them [in Episode 100, airing April 1]. Everybody’s going to be looking spectacular, I can tell you that.”

As you can assume just from the words “episode #100” alone, this is going to be a rather significant episode. Not only will it serve to bring us a great mystery that is very much in vein to some other classic episodes of the show, but it will also remind us of some key moments and big scenes that have unfolded over the course of the series’ run thus far. Hopefully, that will include a progress report on where all of the characters are now compared to when Castle first started working with Beckett to get inspiration for some new novels.
